Sal Sottosanti Sr. | Founder
Sal Sottosanti Sr. is the founder of Sal’s Landscaping. Immigrating to the United States from Italy in the late seventies. After working his day job he found himself mowing lawns and doing small landscaping projects on evenings and weekends to support his family. As his client base grew he decided to start landscaping full time. Officially founding Sal’s Landscaping in summer of 1979. Starting off with only a pick up truck and push mower the business quickly grew under Sal. While Sal Sr. no longer runs the business, it’s not uncommon to see him at landscaping jobs and interacting with customers!

Calogero ‘Carl’ Sottosanti | Co-owner
Carl Sottosanti has been with the company since childhood. Today, Carl is responsible for running the business end of Sal’s. Utilizing his finance degree from Albright College, Carl takes care of all of Sal’s finances. In addition, Carl is also in charge of the lawn maintenance division.
Brad Skipper | Director of Hardscaping
Brad Skipper has been with Sal’s for close to two decades. Brad manages the hardscaping division of Sal’s. Brad brings with him a wide range of knowledge about the art of masonry. Brad’s attention to quality and small details is truly what makes Sal’s hardscape project standout from the rest.
Matt Scahaffer | Senior Account Manager & Designer
Matt Scahaffer joined Sal’s team in 2017, bringing with him over twenty five years of experience. Matt holds a B.S. from Penn State with a major in landscape contracting and a minor in horticulture. Additionally, Matt holds certifications in ICPI and CMA. Matt is responsible for landscape design as well as leading the pool division.
